hey you guys. im a dsm noob and i just picked up a 98 gst spyder for a steal. there is alot done to it and all quality parts. the only thing is he told me the bottom end had all kinds of money put into it and when i took the head off the piston appear to be cast. the only markings on them is the arrow and std. do you guys know if this means i was lied to or not?? i was going to check the bore but if the pistons say std i cant imagine needing to? also since my plan is to flip it am i aloud to ask what you guys think its worth? the paint and body is immaculate. the interior is tan leather and its only flaw is the driver bolster rip like an inch.

mods i know for sure.

turbonetics turbo. water cooled, internal wastegate, 4 bolt down pipe
manifold and dp appear stock.
greddy FMIC
all hard piping
3" apexi exhaust
turboxs boost controller
some MAF translator thing??(i have a hard time trusting things that say horsepower on the product?)
arp headstuds
stock head for sure, bottom end im not sure.
apexi safc
hks fan controller
autometer water, oil, boost, and pyrometer.
cry02 intercooler spray kit(which to me seems wierd to put c02 in your car since it doesnt burn??)
everything else is stock i believe.

about 90,000 miles.

how does all these aftermarket parts affect the resale value. is it worth more than kbb or less because of it?? thanks alot you guys.

It'll get thrown into the "what's it worth thread" meaning no one cares LOL

But to add to your question buying a modified car kinda of decreases the value for some people and for me. Reliablity comes into question. The car could of been raced every weekend and ran hard and deterioration comes into question. But if you already picked up the car and you got it for a good price i say it's a good buy.
Just use proper punctuation next time, makes it easier to read. Congrats on your first post.

Thanks. Sorry for the monster run on sentence. I got the car for only $2000 and all the parts to fix it are cheaper then expected. I'm still curious about the pistons since the stocks are marked 63t? correct?
