First off, I currently run eibach springs and koni yellows
I don't like how the car sits, I have some extra cash and am looking to upgrade to a GOOD/GREAT coilover. Considering D2, KW v3 or Feal
any input on what separates good from great? if you're coming to tell me to get megan coilovers, please exit the thread. I also plan on getting an adjustable front camber kit, ingalls seems to be the popular choice.

My number one priority is ride comfort, stiff is nice yes but i'm not trying to make this into a full autoX car, i drive this car at least 20 miles a day every day so lets keep that in mind. The lower the better, i'm not afraid of getting low I know how to drive and avoid potholes, i practically have a specific route around my town to avoid shitty roads and the like LOL. So any input based off of personal experience would be nice, not "yea my brother used megans on his mustang and liked them" etc, i definitely want coilovers and i practically don't have a budget when it comes to making sure my car is in the best condition it's ever been in

/e leaning towards the d2 at the moment, price looks good and i haven't seen any bad input on them, plus they're shiny purple :sneaky::aha::confused:

you got some links to the ones your thinking about?

me i like Ksport.

but if i had to pick from your list i would say KW they make a very good coil-over!

we put them on a lot of Porsche's at my work that get a lot of track time.

For a daily I think you're going to be unhappy with any coilovers IMO. they can be tuned down enough to be comfortable on the street but at that point you give up any handling advantage so other than stance, is it really worth the added cost?
We run tien green coilovers on our supra and they work well enough on the street but i wouldnt call them comfortable. From what i've experianced with ksports on a 3g, they are VERY VERY harsh on the street.
Don't knock the suspension you have, koni yellows are very respected even among agressive autoxers, hell spec miata class racing is dominated by koni's. you might simply consider keeping the struts you have and trying a different set of springs.
but either way, if you dont want those koni yellows... can I have them :D

If you're looking to lower the car with ride comfort being the priority, you might want to keep the Koni's and get a sleeve-type coilover and some soft'ish springs. Most full coilovers will have spring rates greater than 600lb/inch in the front and 350lb/inch in the rear which is pretty stiff just for normal driving. Of course comfort is subjective, so some might disagree. However, you reduce your suspension travel and you'll be bouncing off the bumpstops if you don't have enough spring to keep this from happening... Another option would be to keep the Koni's and get H&R race springs or Eibach Sportlines.

i think for DD you should keep what you got. for the money your spending on the coilovers you could get a full gst to gsx conversion. that or put some goodies into the motor! looks to all the coilovers listed will be a stiff ride they are made for track and racing not riding.

well that's the problem, i don't like what i have. i don't like what how the car sits, the rear end is high as hell and looks terrible. i've had people ask me why i lowered the front and not the rear and i'm like :ohdamn:
so i definitely want coilovers.
and idk what you're smoking but there is no way 2300 can buy me a full gsx swap.
i have all the best bolt ons and am not interested in making a 400 whp gst that can't put power to the ground, i basically NEED coilovers and more suspension work to get the most out of my setup
can we please stick to the topic?

How about teins or kws.

I heard teins have really stiff struts, not the smoothest ride
i mentioned kws, but 2300 dollars later; what am i REALLY getting compared to these other nice 1000-1500 coilovers?
