I have a Fwd 2nd gen spyder and it is time for suspension. I have read FAQs and other threads and don't like any information i see. The last time it went to the dyno it had 379 whp. I have a John Sheperd rebuilt tranny with Kaaz LSD. In the process of suspension i am installing FP cam2s, magnus motorsports sheet metal intake manifold, ported head with 1mm+ valves, and a FP Red. I need something that will help me at the drag strip besides slicks ( that one is a give). I have looked at and heard about:
kyb agx's: some people say they go out in like 16 months, and i know someone that put them on their car and it supposively made it looked jacked up in the rear. I have no idea what springs to go with on here.
Tokico Illuminas: These have been suggested to me and i thought about ordering the kit from nopi that has the springs to with a 1.5" drop. No postive or negatives about this have been heard of yet.
If i could get ideas on what other people have done to their fwds and positive and negative feedback about their setup and what has been heard of would help out tremendously and be great. Any recommendations will be taken into consideration.
Reminder: tranny and lsd so please make recommendations according to that.
Thank you
Michael
