I know it sounds stupid, but when I bought the car is had a J-spec motor put in it, now the previous owner told me the car had a small 16g on it, but then I was told it wasn't a 16g but a 15g, the turbo housing has TDO5H on it, but I don't which turbo it is, also the previous owner told me it is the cyclone motor, but another guy I know said he has the cyclone motor in his car, and he said my intake manifold didn't look like his at all! I'm confused and don't have any pics of my motor right now, but if anyone can tell me what I do have save me the confusion;)

The intake will say cyclone on it . Go to any vendor site and check pics about turbo . Will need to remove intake pipe or hose , whichever you have , and look at blades .

Another thing to look for is the tops of the injectors. They should have a yellow and are actually 510cc injectors. 1g's usually have blue tops (manuals that is)

Very few JDM engines have the yellowtop 510's and a 16g. Most have bluetop 450's and a 14b. The "cyclone engine" is identical to 1g engines except for the intake manifold. Most people remove the cyclone intake and replace it with a US intake, for a few reasons. It doesn't flow as well up top, and it is somewhat difficult to make it work properly.

There are some more numbers stamped into the compressor housing near the outlet. Those are the numbers we need to indentify your turbo.

Any idea what the percentage is? Every JDM motor I've seen (probably 5 of them) have all had yellow tops. 4 out of 5 have had 16gs as well.
