like the title says what manifold is this ? it looks like a good manifold. i got it with a 92 talon tsi i bought !

A very early SBR Cast manifold. Looks like it's been sitting a while....which would explain how it's not cracked or even worse:

They're now made by Bullseye Power and appear to be of much better quality.

so do they all do that ? would it work if the down pipe was braced like the factory to the engine !

No, they don't all do that. It's just like any other manifold - some crack, but most don't. Clean it up and run it. :thumb:
Hardmounting the downpipe so that it helps support the weight will definitely help relieve some of the load from the manifold.
 
I have that same manifold with No cracks though...It's a HAFE/SBR one
IIRC, I believe that they had quality control problems with the casting for awhile(not enough nickel?)
At the time after that started popping up they where replacing them for free for Original purchasers(Not like that going to help since it was years ago anyway)... .as long as it's Stainless Steel you should be ok those ones are suppose to be post QC issues, also OP I wouldn't bother trying to use the W/G provitions... .
