What is wrong with my car?

Every now and then it will bogg down and backfire if I try to take off. I noticed that it really does it whenever I try to floor it and take off quick. What could be causing this? It's kinda embarrassing so I need to get it fixed quick.

it happens? What happens when you're cruising then stomp on it? Does it ever do it when you are just cruising?

Yes, it does do it when I'm ust rollin at a regular speed and then punch it. It did it to me today as a matter of fact.

I think that i spun a bearing somewhere. Because it started squeeking last night and wouldn't stop until i got into higher RPM's. It's at the shop now, so there goes another couple hundred down the drain. And on top of it all, last night my G/F and I totaled out her mom's Jeep Cherrokee (sp?) when we hit the biggest deer I have ever seen. It wasn't pretty, but nobody got hurt, other than the deer that is.

I would check the intake pipe for cracks. I had problems like these before.
