What is thiss Turbo

So I obtained turbo from co worker pretty much for free . I know garrett and out of a old Buick.

What exactly do you need help with?

I believe that what you have is the stock turbo from a Grand National/T-Type made by Garret.

.. i was going to say the same thing ... ... Grand Nationals used a few diffferent turbos TO4b, .60 /.63 ar , T3 super 60's and a hybrid of sorts but it all depends on year of Grand National and if the turbo was upgraded as Buick grand nationals were amongst the few and first that had what we call tuner / bolt ons to produce awesome power ...

My apologies, I was on my phone last night because my PC was not operative.

My Question regarding this Turbo was I need help to identify as to which Turbo it is and Also is it worth using.

My using I mean having it checked first and maybe rebuild pending its ability to be used.

My neighbor only wants 60 bucks for it.

yeah after a rebuild and the fact that the exhaust housing would need to be changed to fit our manifold and the cold side seems a little wonky I dont know if I would go after that turbo, ....... but thats just me. You may be able to fit that into a T3 hotside and as long as the rebuild dont cost more then 100 bucks or so it might be worth it .... that is a personal preferance that you would have to judge for yourself

Thank you for the information.. I still need to do some reading as to which turbo i should be using with my current setup. I an running a "Evo 3 GT" Ebay Knock off Turbo so I want to upgrade to something well better .
