Ok well, yesterday, i hit an unavoidable ditch/pothole thing in the road, and bottomed out. Upon immediate inspection i didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, except it through my alignment slightly off. Anywya, today i saw a puddle of oil in my garage, so i decided to do a closer inspection. I found that this drivers side thing, filled with grease had exploded, and i need a new oil pan. I dont know what thi sthing is called so i was hoping you guys could tell me, here are pics.

Also, I need a cheap oil pan/gasket, assuming the best place to find a cheap oil pan would be junkyard? What about this piece in the pics? Thanks.

Thats some shinny grease you got there :D
but yeah that appears to be the CV Boot that has ripped.

it looks like an outer tie rod, however a pic fromfarther away will make it easier to determine what it is since we'll be able to see waht it's connected to.the grease loks like it's from your cv axles, boots might be broken ,but again take better pics.

Ok, i will see what i can do, I can't take off my wheel right now, cause i lost my lugnut key. So, i will get the best pictures that i can.

Holy huge pics, Batman! That much grease would indeed come out of a CV boot, as GUY said. Better get that fixed before the joint eats itself. Get an oil pan out of a junkyard, or you could call the stealership.

From what I can see in that picture, it would appear to definitely be the Tie Rod end that has broken, not the CV Joint. If you take a look, there's actually not much grease on or around the CV, but the Tie Rod end is completely flattened, indicating that it is where the grease came from. Go pick up a new Tie Rod end and install. Problem solved. :thumb:

Definently A Tie Rod End. You Can See The Rip In The Boot In The Pictures.
