What is this plug thing??

Hey guys, I just got my DSM on Friday so I am a new DSMer. Anyway, I have this plug thing mounted on the bottom of the dash kinda by the pedals and I can not figure out what it is. It has a plug that looks a padlock kinda. I was going to try to pull it out, but I don't want to mess anything up. Can you guys help?

i dont supose you have any pictures do you? what side of the pedals is it? if it's on the right side it might be your OBD II plug.

I do, but it is at home and I am at work STUPID ME!! When I sit in my car it is by my right knee. It is about 1"x1" and the wires coming out the back are about as big as the plug. I was hoping it was wired for a turbo timer! I looked at pix of other 2nd Gen Talons and do not see the plug.

If its by your right knee, and its black its your obd-II plug.

If its white(im thinking of my hks plug), and runs underneath the steering wheel and has 3 wires connected to it, its a harness plug for a tt.
