I have a tubular exhaust manifold that heats up very hot, I think it contributed to heating up my valve cover and melting the outer rings of my prior (hi-temp resistent) wires.

here's a pic of mine...I think I need a new one and I want something that isn't as hot or else I'm going to have to do a hood vent or something.

What I was saying is if you are still using the Stock T25 or a 1st gen 14B stay with your 2nd gen manfold. If you are upgradeing to a big 16G or a EVO III blower go with the EVO 3 exhaust manfold.

The only major differance between the 2nd Gen and the EVO3 on the 2nd gen the exhaust outlit is 6MM and on the EVO3 it is 7MM.

so the evo3 wont fit the stock T25 turbo? why i keep asking this is because my 2g manifold is cracked and needs too be replaced, and i found a 2g for 189 ( http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=1399 ) then next to it for a cheaper price is the evo3 and if it fits the stock turbo and has better flow why should i get the stock 2g if i could get the evo3 with better performance and a cheaper price?

Did you read my post? All manifolds will fit the stock T25 turbo, it has the same inlet flange as all the other Mitsubishi turbos. I wouldn't pay $189 for a 2G manifold when I can get a GT manifold for $150.

It depends on what you plan to do with your turbo. If you plan to keep the T25 forever, get used 2G manifold or a new one (in your case). If you want to port the inlet of your turbo then pick up either the GT manifold or the EVO or the FP which are all sized for the 7cm gasket, while the stock 2G is isn't.
