What is the best act street clutch?

Hello, I was wondering a few questions on these clutches. Which one has the best performance for street. Not any of the 6 pads or 4 pads. Also what is the best clutch plates? All for street. Heavy Duty(HD) plate or Extreme? The Modified street disc the best one they make for street? Thank you for awnsering this

Either act 2100 or the 2600 if you like the heavy clutch feeling. Both with the act street disc.

The one that best fits your setup and goals is the more appropriate answer to that question. Without knowing what you hp/tq goals are nobody can accurately answer your question.

What he said, without your power goals in mind you could go from a completely stock OEM replacement to a triple carbon disk.

If you want street manners then you need something that has a sprung hub. You can get any size pressure plate (again that matters on goals) And you can get a full face disk, or a carbon kevlar disk.

I personaly have a 2900 disk with a sprung 4 puck. And it drives great on the street, my wife even drives it with no problem.

I would say 2100 for street use only, or a 2600 if you plan on taking it to the track occasionaly.

I love my 2600, has nice firm feel, maybe a pain for stop and go traffic though.

I've had both an ACT 2100 and 2600 and if I were to pick one for a daily driver I would go with the 2100. I only hit the track maybe twice a year and the 2100 did fine for me running in the mid/low 13's. The 2600 has a pretty stiff pedal and wasn't very stop and go friendly but you get used it. Funny story is back when I used to daily drive with my 2600 you could totally see my left calf was bigger and more toned than my right one . I drove that car daily for 4 years though so it took time for that to happen.
