i have a 95 tsi awd and my clutch has been slipping for a while now and its already doing it in 2nd gear so i know its getting bad. i am looking at upgrading to a performance clutch and flywheel combo and i am wondering what would be the best to go with??? i may possible upgrade my turbo and intercooler later on but at this point i dont have many mods done so im thinking that a stage 2 or an act 2100 would be best

For an AWD, you need to start with either a 2600 with a street disc or a 2100 with a 6 puck disc. I run the the 2100 with a 6 puck sprung hub disc.

The 2600 with street disc is rated for 400ft/lbs of torque. The 2100 with the 6 puck disc is rated for 412ft/lbs of torque (if I remember correctly). This means that it is not just the pressure plate that is of importance but also the material on the disc. The 6 puck sprung has ceramic buttons on it, which is why it is rated for more torque than an organic street disc.

FYI - This is a very common question, if you try searching, you'll find a LOT of information that will help you to choose the right clutch for your car.

well i have searched this topic and i found alot of info about the spec clutches and that they were generally pretty good yet i also heard some instances where they were bad which was the same for the act and i havent much good about any of the other ones really and the specs look to be cheaper which is always good for me but if it means spending a little more for an act because itll last alot longer then so be it
