What gm cars carry the 3 1/2 inch maf sensor? Also on the maf translator can 3 in and 3 1/2 in maf sensors be swapped out and not have to change anything on the plugs or the translator?

3.5" came on ram air trans ams, camaro ss's, and corvettes.

The plugs are the same for both mafs but the maf settings will have to be changed in the translator.

How is it changed, this is for the translator low grade on i guess you can call it and the other ones??

It is changed by the mode switch. That is the cluster of 4 dip switches. Switch #1 is for maf size. It would be set to off for a 3" and on for a 3.5". I assume you have maft ver 1.xx? Here are the complete instructions.

Got to be more specific

3" was on 93-97 Camaros and Trans Ams (and up to 96' i believe vettes). Cars with LT1 motors.

3.5" was on 98+ fbodys and 98-04' I believe vettes. LS1's

3 5/8ths was on Z06's IIRC . LS6.
