What galant alternator fits a G2 eclipse with high amps?

I heard that the galant alternators that can push 160 amps or more can fit the G2 eclipse. I have a 1999 and the alternator doesn't seem to work. I'd just assume get a new one. I saw on ebay some of the various galant years can push high amps which is what I need for my large cooling fans.
The question is what year fits a 1999 GSX 2.0l eclipse?

I believe it's a '96 galant alternator from the 4 cylinder naturally aspirated ( it may be a 4g64 I just can't remember right now )

Yep that's what I have, '96 Galant unit. It is a plug and play 90 amp unit. Love mine!

The stock Galant alternator puts out 90 amps vs 75 for the 2G's. The alternator from a 2G NT Spyder is the same, since the engine is the same (4G64).

The guy who build my 99 put huge cooling fans on it and it has a tiny Prius battery, so I need more amps than less. I think I want at least 150 to give me ample power

I have a 3g alt that I'd like to make fit a 1g. The swivel bracket part of the alt is too narrow to fit on the block/front cover of a 1g though.

Does it matter what model of 96 Galant the alt needs to be from?
