What fuel setup would you run with this?

Hey everyone I have a 7 bolt motor that was bored .40 over (I didnt do it), I was wondering what kind of setup for fuel would you suggest? Right now it is running on the stock setup.

I have a feeling I should be running bigger injectors ect..

I dont plan on running anything crazy. Right now and for a while I will be running the 14b on 11 lbs - 14lbs.

Suggestions?

Get a set of 650cc an AFC and a Walbro 190. That will hold you if you don't plan on going bigger than a 16g.

What is your HP goals?
What is your budget?
Street?
Auto-x?
Drag?

There is so many variables. Motor-work alone won't determine your fuel setup.
I see you want to stay with a 14b for a while now, but you can run a larger fuel setup(with the 14b until you upgrade) with the right tuning.

Scroll half-way down, there is a good table for reference/starting point. I recommend you get a logger before anything.

So a 14b at basically stock boost? Why even change it? Get an AFC and pull some fuel out.

+1 to that. A .04" bore isnt going to be like ZOMG!!! 6.0L motor now. You just bored up from a 1.99L to a 2.02L. These cars are overly rich anyways.

Well, my budget is "student".

It is mainly going to be street driven with some Auto-x(twice a year maybe)

I do have data logging stuff. Palm and cables running Palm n Stein and/or MMCd.

I have some bugs to work out before Im going to be doing any upgrading, just trying to plan ahead.

Then keep it "stock" for now, raise the boost only until you see knock..then back off a couple psi.
You can re-wire your fuel pump until you have time to upgrade - this will allow you to maybe run a couple more psi.

If you only plan on auto-x the very largest you could go is an 18G sized turbo - even still I'd stay with a 16G.
If you plan on running e85 get the biggest injectors that you can tune with.

IMHO an SAFC is a waste of money. Go with dsmlink lite or other open source programs that are much more effective and practical.

680cc injectors and a walbro 190 are a good starting point depending on how far you want to go with it.
If you go with the 255, you need an AFPR.

Just spend time reading-up on here, you'll figure it out.
