Soon, i plan on getting a new fuel setup, and eventually upgrade to a bigger turbo. I was thinking about getting a 190 fuel pump, 550 injectors, and an safc (I or II). Eventually I plan on getting some type of 16g (big, evo III, or hahn super 16g). I was wondering if this fuel setup would be able to push the larger turbo to its max (or would i need a 255 and 660's)? Will I need an fpr for my 190 fuel pump? I have a 92 tsi, for current mods check in my profile. Please give me some advice. Thanks

Yeah exactly. It's really not that much more money. The AFPR can be a PITA depending on what parts you buy, but without it your base fuel pressure will be higher. You can tune around it and compensate for it, however that bit of extra control is very nice.

Yeah go 660's and a 255 pump.

though 550's and the 255 would support your 16g with no sweat whatsoever.

I would have to agree with everyone else. Might as well leave yourself the option to upgrade in the future!:D

thanks for the advice guys. What FPR would you recommend for the 255? and would i need a fuel pressure gauge along with it?

i was told at a "dsm garage" that a supra pump wont over run my 1g fpr, same goes for the 255....

That "dsm garage" was wrong from my standpoint. I installed a 255 pump and it massively overran my stock 1g FPR.
Crazyboost, look into the bolt on FPR from fullthrottlespeed.com otherwise you'll have to fab all the connections with -AN fittings to make an Aeromotive or SX FPR work..
