I was just curious to see what everybody uses. Ive used Sunoco, VP, Phillips 66 and Track tek. So far Ive liked anything 114 and above motor octane. Its seems like I got a lot of knock with the 111 track tek fuel for some reason so I decided to stop using it. Ive been really happy with the phillips 66 brand 113 though so Im thinking of buying a drum of that. Anyway, just wondering if anyone had and input on what worked for them and what didnt.

I always run leaded. I cant seem to find anything unleaded that keeps me from knocking. So far the highest Ive ran is 105 unleaded and that just wasnt cutting it.

i run sunoco 110 mixed with whatever 92 octane I happen to have left in my gas tank. I have never had a problem with the 110.

Conoco 110, although I will be trying some 118 this year when I crank it up. ;)
Are you getting the 118 at Ozark international? I could'nt remember if they sold 118 so I have been looking. Sunoco in Lebanon won't sell 118 unless you buy a 55 gallon barrel of it.

Trust me, it wasn't the fuel. I had (and still have) a very bad tranny. Shot synchros 1st through 4th gear. Here's another timeslip from the same day I ran the time listed under my avatar. Kinda sucks when it takes you 2-3 tries to get into gear. It was a shitty day. ROFL ROFL ROFL

I will be back with a good tranny and run some real boost next time out. ;)

Nice 60 ft. I think I have a video at Ozark international raceway with you in it. You take off so smooth.:thumb:

Hahaha...thanks man. It took me awhile to get to the point where I can launch it hard and be gentle at the same time. I only ran at OIR twice last year. Some people have mistaken our cars. I always tell them one is a FWD and the other is an AWD, of course that doesn't really tell them much. ROFL

Send me the video if you still have it. :thumb: ( [email protected] )

The 111 was $4.50/gal. Once I ran out of that I went back to the 118 and it was $7.50/gal after the hurricane. So this is actually a lot cheaper, but still a kick to the nuts. It should last me all season though

its ok man, just giving you shit. Its 109 motor octane i believe. I hope it works since im stuck with 55 gallons of it :)
