I have bought a gst spyder with a 6 bolt swap and i was told it has a double extrude honed 1st gen intake can anyone tell me what this means??

They run a media (sand, beads) through the intake manifold for a long time to "bore" it out.

All good only if all true.

Extrude honing the manifold should be the last mod performed only after one hundred dollar bills have been rolled tightly and stuffed into every weak point in the car.

Say "show me the receipt".

If everything was done right then yes, it is good. It helps the engine breathe better. More air into the engine. The more air you put into an engine means more fuel needed though. Is the fuel system stock?

I don't have a stock comparison pick, but this is what the inside of my 2G extrude honed intake looks like. I picked this one up from RRE for a good price since they had a couple sitting around forever since most people just go sheet metal these days.
