I just had a light come on in my car and i was wondering if someone could tell me what it is. It is right next to the open door light. It is yellow and even if i reset the computer on the car it is still on when i start the car again. Can anyone tell me what it is.

Thanks
nathan

umm...this doesn't seem like engine managment material to me

You know what...a picture is worth a thousand words :thumb:

it does look like a carosel, but it is not low. Neither in the radiator or in the reservor. So it must be a sensor. Where does the sensor go, can anyone tell me

thanks
nathan

It's probably that stupid low windshield washer fluid light. Either fill the resevoir up, or unplug the sensor and be done with it forever.

...sensors go in the t-stat housing. There are two...one feeds the signal to the ecu (bigger top one) and the other sends the signal to the gauge in the dash. Your light is probably on for a reason ;)

It might also be the REAR resevoir light (If you have a rear wiper)

Just a thought.

Well, if he doesn't wanna give a pic, then we could be here playing 21 questions. I say it's light refracted off of gasses in the sky shining down through your sunroof and glimmering off your plastic instrument cover :)

Isn't this in a FAQ or 1001 DSM Questions or something, somewhere? Hasn't this been answered, here on tuners, 1001 different times?

Does your car have a FRONT resevoir?

Yes, unlike factory turbo cars, who only have a reservoir in the rear, 2gnt cars have the font reservoir in the engine compartment. Cars with a rear wiper will have a second reservoir located in the driver-side rear quarter, (as opposed to the spare tire well, like turbo cars) just for the rear.
