what does balance shaft eliminating actually do?

eliminating balance shafts what does this actualy do?
is it some thing i should seriously do?
what kind of applications would somebody do this for?
does it only need to be done for a certain application like drag or drift or what

Eliminates rotational mass, allows the engine to rev more freely. It also eliminates the chance of the balance belt breaking and taking the timing belt out with it.

as cyber said. i removed my MOSTLY for the reason #3, i had two different cars have the balance shaft belt break and take out my timing belt. this time around, no balance shafts/belt.

Also increases oil pressure because the oil holes for the balance shafts are blocked off.

more engine vibration? or anything?

if it was so great, why did they even put it in the first place?

The engine wont vibrate any more that it already does you'll just feel it more....Make's sense if you think about it. After having my balancer belt brake and cause 15valves to bend and embed themselves into my piston i would I highly suggest it
