hey you guys i'm not a newbie but i for some reason have no idea what the advantage to a balance shaft eliminator is. help me out. and is it better to use or not.

1. Helps the engine to rev a little faster.
2. Makes the engine less prone to self destruction from the balance shaft belt.
3. Frees up a few ponies.
4. Raises oil pressure slightly.

yup, I would do it for number two mostly. The reving and hp are negligable but the thought that I won't ever have to go through having my b-shaft belt take out my timing belt and ruin a head again is more than I can ask for.
