Eliminating Balance Shafts

how hard is it to do, would me and a friend be able to do so, and do it correctly, if so i would like to buy the kit from ExtremePSI and do it myself to save on labor costs, if you have done it yourself please post and let me know from your experience, thanks

It's moderately difficult, only because if things are done wrong it can cause major problems. But if you are careful and follow the steps without taking shortcuts, it's not a big deal. You are basically going to be doing a timing belt job, which will ring up a $700 bill at a local shop, including parts. So you will save a few hundo easy.

Set aside a decent amount of time, and replace the water and front case while you are in there, if you know it hasn't been done recently.
