What do you guys think?( painted center piece white gst)

So i had my center piece painted to match the car. ( I use my old one off my old gs to see how i would like it)

I cant decide if I should keep it or put the OEM eclipse one back on.

Help me decide? what are your inputs!

Personally I'm not a big fan of the painted center pieces. I've got mine all smoked. But my car is black so it kinda flows. Personal opinion.

I would say go for it! I did it when I had my white GST and it looked so much better! I can get some pics up later from my facebook, im on my work computer and wont let me access facebook

Whichever you like best. I myself am partial to the OEM look. Even keeping the 'Eclipse' badging. I do think that it would look nice to paint the center and put the badging back on. Have you considered that?

Ive seen some 2gs use lettering from the 4g eclipse, or put something totally different altogether...I think i saw someone chop up a badge from a caddy so it said "Evil"

Yeah i was thinking about doing my oem one and keeping the eclipse one.

I parted out my old gs and just saved the center piece and tried it out. I like it both ways I just cant decide

I think that it looks much nicer with the center piece painted to match the rest of the car. Sometimes it looks like it should have been made that way instead of the "reflector, light" look.

Some really clean DSMs you have there, sir. I think the 'Eclipse' badging over the painted center would look good. Did you paint the white center with OEM Northstar White?

i personally love the painted center piece. mine has an eclipse vinyl on it and i think it looks fantastic. you can kinda see it in my uploaded photos if interested. but i really like this look over stock. hope that helps.

yeah i think im going to leave it. I hate when you see a eclipse like up the road and it just looks like one big red strip. I like the painted center piece. It makes it look wider

This guys is a prime example of hotness! I love the painted center with something custom on it. I.E. Vinyl, chopped badge, etc...
