Hey guys, as the topic states, I painted a couple of things and wanted to get any feedback good or bad.

Exterior: painted the grey trim that went around the bottom of the car white, the middle taillight white, the calipers gold ( I wanted to venture from the common red) and put some mesh in the front bumper

Engine bay: painted the valve cover, spark plug cover, polished the heat shield, intake manifold, and fuel rail, and put on a couple of braided hoses.

Let me know what you think.

I like the painted centerpiece but dont like the colors of the valve cover and spark plug cover ( I think you should have chose 2 different colors or just the red and another color..no blue :notgood: )...Other than that, getting rid of the grey trim on the bottom of the car also looks good..all white is much better looking..I also like the gold calipers because I think it's different as you said..Also your headlights looks good because it blends with the carbon fiber hood :thumb: :thumb:

i love it! looks good... i like the gold calipers too!! do you have anything to match the color scheme of the engine?

I like the exterior but I don't really understand the under the engine aspect.

man open that hood and u get slinged with a web in your face ROFL ...

I love the car white is such a clean color! :thumb: :thumb:

Great Job :thumb: what paint did you use for the centerpiece. I used krylon and its fading again for the third time.

You did a great job I think, but as almost everyone else stated, I would've chose different colors for the valve cover. I painted my valve cover too and I know it takes time if you want it to look clean and yours does look very clean, good job.

interesting.. not too fond of the color scheme of the valve cover/spark plug.. its either one or the other.. and the mud flaps dont look right.. but thats just my opinion and it means nothing

Nice job on the painting and polishing. I'd say if you like the blue on the valve cover you should use it more and in other locations. Its all about getting a color scheme going. Red, blue, gold, white and C/F can all work together but it'll be tricky balancing them right. Are you planning on painting anything else? Maybe a graphics scheme on the outside? You could use the white/red/bue/gold for a sweet custom exteroir. Just skip doing any flags or Spider Man stuff unless you really like Spidey (and then you'd need a GSX; more grip!)

dark blue dosn't look good with the red and white, and maybe white calipers would have been a better choice?

change the engine color scheme, drop the car, dont do graphics, lose the mud flaps, and it looks like you are missing the sideskirt on the door in some of the pics might just be the angle though. Then repost pics
