looks good, just make sure when you put it back on that you don't overtighten the bolts, you don't want to crack it.

Get an old T-shirt, a piece of 2x4 and some metal polish (Simichrome, Flitz, Mother's Mag or whatever you like). Stretch two layers of T-shirt over the edge of the board, put a dab of metal polish on it, rub it into the cloth with your fingers, and then use it to polish the letters. Keep it level and don't hit the paint. The letters will shine like chrome in no time.

And yeah, don't crack the cover on installation. Be especially careful on the inside corners, just snug them.

Thanks for all the info, is there an order in which to tighten the bolts? Also I heard somewhere that you should do them hand tight, not using a ratched, then do one more slight turn and that is enough to it won't leack...?

If that's all you have to do then I ain't paying someone $45 to do it LOL How much did the paint/primer cost you?

Anyone suggestion for not overtightning the bolts? And the paint was like 6 bucks total..LOL :dsm:

Where did you get it at and did you see or think they would have like a gunmetal spray? Any tips? LOL :D

Any auto parts store will have the high heat engine paint, get the primer and the color you want. Put alot of time into the prep. work. Scuff the cover with scuffing pads, and then wash and degrees it, the more time you spend in prep and prime the better, took me a full day just to get it ready for primer then two after that before paint.
