what do you guys do with the ugly 1g antenna?

I stilk want radio but the antenna is uglay AF... what have sone of you done to fix it? Shaving would be easy but where do you relocate a new one?

There is one that can go across the top of the windshield on the inside, and you of course run the wire under the cover on the a pillar and under the headliner, I just cannot remember the name of it. My friend had one and it was pretty neat. If I can get ahold of him I will get back to you on this.

I've seen a stubby type, doesn't look too bad IMO, I'd prefer a delete and add a good powered antenna either in the inside windshield or rear hatch hiding the wires to your stereo.

I took out the stock antenna, closed the hole in the side piece of the spoiler with fiberglass and body filler a friend did the paint. I bought an antenna that goes inside the rear hatch

You can always just hide the antenna behind interior panels. Reception won't be as good.

I have a 2G, yet i think any antenna that doesn't at the very minimum retract into the car once the radio is off is hideous. Therefore i did an antenna delete because i listen to my iPod 98% of the time any way.
