ECMlink What do i need to tune my bolt on 96 GST with ecmlink?

Tried searching even on the ecmlink website i emailed the guys and they havent got yet to me so figured i would give it a shot since my car is apart right now. I have a 96gst all bolt ons front mount fp68hta 750cc injectors just in talled 255walbro pump. So i pulled the ecu and its a non eprom unit. Whats next get a used eprom one? Do i just install the eprom one and buy the ecmlink and im ready to go? Do i have to send in the ecu to ecmlink? Is it just easier to buy like an earlier version of the aem ems? Im just tired of having all these parts laying around and want to get this car running the way it should. Thanks for the time and sorry if its a repeat thread any help appreiated.

At least once a week someone is selling a v3 setup on classifieds for about $500. Unless you want to source an eprom ecu (usually about $100) and send it to ecm link and pay the extra $. Unless you only plan on doing minimal mods you need link or get a 98-99 black box ecu and tactrix cord and learn evoscan. A few hundred cheaper, but more to learn.

There are a few different tuning programs that I can think of, Jackle, Werewolf, Black Box (which has set perameters), AEM and @ECMLINK to just blab them off but Ecmlink offers SOO much to the user that I would say it should be the first upgrade. I have a stock 90 sitting in the wings that I am going to try Link in and see what I can do without anything else. My little Red RotRod is a different animal and it HAS to have a good program and that is Ecmlink. So I say save for a good deal in the classifieds also and like said, be patient, the deals will come.
