Went outside, cleaned off the ice off my windows. Went and picked up my friend, went to micky dee's and came to school. Now its sitting in the parking lot waiting for me to open her up before work. (put a full tank of gas in last night)

I went to the car wash and gave her the best program. After that I tried to find a nice spot to install a car thermometer. What do you think?

Finished installing prosport gauges today. Looks much better than the mis-matched autometer ones I had in it.

+1 for Halo Reach.:hellyeah: Took the valves out of the head i removed off the car this past week, trying to find a good shop to take the head too.

FYI its 21 degrees and snowing outside. No heater in garage.

Ps I love layers of clothes.

Can you tap it out and put a helicoil or better yet is there any threads left at all? will the bolt snug up finger tight?

I've never used a helicoil kit and really don't know how to use one. And i got offered a CLEAN 1g manifold with studs(no more bullsh** bolts LOL) that matches my valve cover for $50 bucks, so i might go with that, depending on how much a heli coil kit is for that size bolt.

It has about half the threads that were stripped out, and some are still loose in the hole blocking the other threads.

I can snug it up finger tight but i cant screw the bolt in any more than 2 turns by hand.

Had the CEL come on so I sat there staring at it in disbelief for a few seconds then said eff my life and went in to work. So tonight instead of sitting in my nice warm house I get to first run to Oreilly to use their scan tool then spend money I don't have and go freeze my ass off fixing whatever is wrong with this money pit. End rant.

I found my car and dug it out somewhat. Yes the snow is higher than the roof-line.

Welded in a patch on the driver side floor. Found a small rust hole on the floor under the brake pedal, where your heel rests. Having a cuppa joe, while I warm back up the shop so I can throw some bondo on the welds and make it look pretty and then back to pruning my wiring harness of all the crap I no longer need.

Sat in traffic being pissed off at the never ending clutch issues that are tearing apart my trans. Also the throttle body that is starting to act up and want to idle at 2000 rpm or stick at certain rpms.
