I haven't correct sized the picture yet, but after trying every tool in my garage I put a small #1 philips bit in some narrow vise grips and applied pressure to the back with a big screwdriver against the fuel rail. I was lucky the hole wasn't stripped. What I should have done is reinstall the tps with the Allen head bolts supplied by snowboarder714, but I was so happy with myself that I didn't strip any screws that I just decided to save the Allen heads for next time.:ohdamn:

Made a 10 gauge rewire kit at work today from the extra wiring drawer (we do remote starts) with a ground switch to keep my car from getting stolen till I can fix the door locks LOL. Now I am about to mount my oil cooler that I relocated with some brackets (taken from work) and hopefully mount my fmic core!

Are you going to share this custom tool with the dsm community hah?
I've always wanted something to get that darn screw with out removing a million things on the intake
Invented a new Mitsubishi special tool to get the bottom screw/bolt out of the tps so I could adjust it installed. Success! Only took two hours!:D

Edit: got excited didn't read more below my bad

Ok, I've done something similar but didn't have a set of long nose vice grips at the time. Now that I do, this will make it much easier to manipulate the screw. Thanks

set fuel pressure, set tps, filled engine with oil, secured all vac/boost connections, triple checked bolts everywhere, calibrated wb, couple other things.

i have snowboarder714's tb rebuild kit, and had to adjust tps with the allen head screws. i just took a 4mm allen wrench and ground about 7-8mm off the short side, fits perfectly between the rail and sensor.

also i have to say, i was curious how the aeromotive 340 stealth pump would compare to a walbro. its stupid quiet. i could barely tell it was running when i had it on.

contemplating pulling the rear axles and/or diff, and installing my VCE for the time being, so i can also go to the dyno.

Integrated an oil pressure gauge into the Galant's cluster.

@GST with PSI
That looks factory! good job ! Makes me want to put paddle shifters (v.4 coming soon) with a digital display in the cluster like that !

Did my rear brakes and holy crap what a pain! Those dam integrated parking brakes make life so much harder !
My old pads had 50,000 +km on them and wore evenly on the right side but on the driver side there was 2mm left on one side and the other side wore at an angle so I made sure to clean the seized sliders !

Also my wheel wells look to be in great shape for a car turning 25 in 2 months ! Factory undercoating was a great option for these salty winters

that looks super clean GST with PSI, very nice.

today i removed my cruise control (i didnt work) and modified the stock throttle cable for ultra short route style. still have to finish securing the cable somehow. removed my a/c side fan cuz my fluidyne rad with even 2/3 blocked runs cooler than possible. fixed some oil leaks behind the timing belt, found my new oem tensioner was trashed, ordered a new one. removed my downpipe and o2 housing to replace the leaking gaskets and modify the downpipe to fit better.

Thanks! That thing still looks brand new. Looks like they are located in Idaho too, who would have thought. Thanks again! :thumb: just put in my order...

Well, it shows some wear over time. But, the cool thing is, you can just respray the blanket with VHT Flameproof paint and it looks good as new again...As seen in my picture above.

To be honest, I was on the fence for a long time about dropping a $100 bucks on a exhaust manifold diaper. Now that I have used one though, I doubt I'll ever go back to a heat shield. The blanket is awesome, and is worth every penny.

Finished up shifter rebuild / upgrade with Zymborski shifter kit and all new bushings, cable brass bushings. Then moved onto pulling parts and labeling for the upcomming Head Gasket replacement and timing maintenence / replacement of water pump / tensioner, etc etc ... besides patching up all the cluster fuq of ill attempted wiring jobs for fans , gauges and what not ...... PLease Please people in the future take your time I know your in a rush to see what and how it looks and turns out, but for pete's sake DSM's dont get the best reviews for reliability which is partly due to half assed fast a$$ed done jobs ..... remember that 90% of the time when sold these cars got DSM'ers and we have undo all the " I will fix that laters and I will get the right part laters"

Ran the new motor today. So far so good. Hopefully I'll finish the break in tomorrow, and then change the oil.
