What Cyclone intake manifold is this??

Hey guys i just noticed that my daily has a weird ass intake manifold,it says Cyclone but is very different to the Vr4/jdm cyclone ones.Does anyone knows where this one came fron.

Well I can tell you that the throttle body did not come with the cyclone..because the JDM tab only has 1 Nipple if iiI remember correctly.

Get some more pictures of that intake manifold below the fuel rail,and look for an actuator on the timing belt side of the manifold.

I looked for an actuator and didn't see nothing.I have a small suspision that is a 4g61 intake mani

Well I'm not so sure..Your valve cover is correct to have a cyclone intake manifol...But thats also assuming a previous owner swapped on a JDM head.Then again the manifold looks almost exactly like a regular 1gmanifold,but it says cyclone,which intreges me.

Me too and i googled and cant seem to find any 4g63 with that intake manifold.I have that car for almos 6 month now and today i noticed it.

It just looks like a stock 1g manifold. If it doesnt have an actuator on the right side of the intake and it doesnt have the flaps or dual plenum set up its prob just a 1g intake with cyclone stamped on it instead of efi or what ever.

Look at the block code. You might have a 4g61t. This means it is a 1.6l turbo.

I installed a couple of jdm 1.6l 4g61t into two Mirages years ago. The intake says cyclone on it but there is no butterfly. The intake ports are small and can not be port bigger them like the 2g head.

Haha I know right. I have to be honest I never even heard of a 4g61.

I looked at the block and its stamped 4G63,The head on the thermostat housing is stamped 2.0

That is the same as the 1G. I do not know if it is JDM or the euro spec engines had that intake but I have seen them before.
