I have a 2G, Stock Green (check the Gallery) and I am looking to paint it a unique, head turning color. Not Pink, not a Bright Green, just a nice smooth color.

I Like Candy Tangerinie, Midnight Blue, other shades of blue... etc. What I need is some suggestion of your guys fav colors and hopefully some pics as examples. I can't make this decision on my own.

Also whats an estimated cost? I have 2Gs but if thats not enough I can get a loan.

Another factor is, I am doing this w/ a Rudora Kit.... I plan to do other body mods (turbo spoiler, roof scoop, shave gas tank lid, some sort of fenders maybe etc etc) so how should I go about this? I would wait till I have it all but my rear end is smashed (slightly) from being hit so I need to clean up my car ASAP ya know? About the stock spoiler, should I shave it then wait till I have a turbo spoiler, have them paint the spoiler the same color and mount it? Wouldnt have that problem if we could get that spoiler in carbon fiber like I thought we would...

Thanks

Blue is a personal fav. color of mine, and I think midnight blue looks nice on a 2g, but if you want something more unique I suggest going for a dark candy-blue, or a metal-flake blue... Just my opinion, you could probably put any shade of "smooth" color on the car and it will look fantastic if it is done right, but in the end it's up to you and what your preferance is...

Some1 wanna post pics of "candy blue" and ish? Never heard of that. I am feeling the Baha Blue, does it look darker at night?

Can I get a pic of midnight blue on any car please. Damn its such a toss up I have so much to compare, I suck at big decisions like this

That orange is cool, I also liked the bizarre lime green (but I wouldn't force that on anyone, it's just me).

Cost of paintjobs? Just about any amount you want to spend. $2K would be about entry-level for a really good job, but paint is VERY expensive just on its own.

Hey guys,
I used to own a 3G Eclipse  it was a really cool color. It came stock on the car. I think it was called Hunington Blue. It was a dark blue-ish purple. I always had people asking me what color my car was. Is that blue? Is that purple? And at night in the right light it could look almost black. I loved that color. Since its a stock color it should be easy to get ahold of and maybe not as expensive as a custom or candy color. Well just thought I'd throw in my two pennies. Later.

im gonna be getting a new paint job in a couple months.. just wondering everyones views on color and such. my car is stock red, thinkin about just repainting it red again. or getting it black

Let me go ask RockyV first...

Seriously though, I'm painting my car Corvette-Millinium yellow in a couple of years.

Well, I'd probably just get my car repainted black, but if not, then black with a hint of blue in it.

Blue... Si blue to be exact.. I know it is a Honda color, but I think it is the only thing Honda did right.
