umm keep the outside all black. i like all black. looks clean
do your engine in blue and interior in blue.
if you want to do some exterior compliments, do stuff like put some blue painted gutter mesh in the air dam, paint your calipers blue, you can paint your headlight housing blue (or blue headlight covers), get blue tint, get a blue decal, and my most favorite is painting the inside of the rims... im not brave enough to do it though.... looks sweet as hell though

I am going to paint my 95 talon in the near weeks and I need to find a color. I am hung up on the stock electric blue, metalic orange, and a grayish green. but my question is should I paint the roof same as the body or leave it black?

thanks for the opinions

thanks for the replies. I know that the color is up to me but for some reason I am having a heck of a time trying to pick with I like best...each week it changes and the ride needs to get painted soon....htanks again for the input please sent more my way.

hi i am painting my eclipse but i dont know what color. i want black but i think it would be hard to take care of. any suggestions? :dsm:

DO WHAT YOU WANT BUT DONT DO IT IN CAPS.......second person tonight thats sceaming.

Oh and to answer your question, only do black if the body is nice or you are going to do bodywork before b/c it will show the imperfections like a mo fo.

oh i know i work at a body shop that is why i am doing this. if i do black i need to do some body work because it will show everytheing.
but black sure does look good.

my picks:

blue by you
electron blue
rx-8 blue (GORGEOUS)
weightless white

if you couldn't tell, i'm bias towards evo colors:D

happy painting man...

It all depends on waht type of image you are trying to go with. Wild or Mild If you want a sick ass paint job thats goign to turn heads than get a yellow with blue pearl paint job and a vis turbo scoop hood. You'll have people asking u how fast it is just sitting there!! If your trying to go a little more subtle than get something like a black or a silver. Its gotta be up to you! The coolest thing to do is find a color on a rare sports car taht you like and get the paint code and do that color.!!!!

Nothing sicker than saying you have the maybach silver!!

supra rsp, a guy by the name of EclipsN on dsmtalk has his car painted that color and mine is going to be that color when the body shops gets done with it...
