What color RED would you choose?

Well, like the title says, I'm asking for your opinion on paint. My car still has the factory Sarona Red and I'm going to be repainting it in November. I've been looking for a while, and come up with a few. Please post what RED you would chose (and the car it comes on if possible). I want something that is bright that will standout, but yet I hate the look of any orange. A picture of my car is below. The FMIC will be put on when I cut the bumper and prepare for paint.

My Choices So Far:
Victory Red - 2010 Corvette & Camaro (Appeared to have the same paint code)
Brilliant Red / Misano Red Pearl - 2009 Audi Models

I too like Gofer's color. I would love to know what color it is. It's hard to just look at the "color" of the red rather than the overall picture. His car is VERY nice and well put together so it's hard to look past the 2 tone, the wheels, the FMIC, the sideskirts, etc. and just focus on the paint color. Looks Good Gofer

Just use the factory paint code unless you want to do it all the right way and repaint your door jams and engine bay. I like the factory color and with it being fresh it would look like a brand new ride. Minus the common dings and dents all cars suffer throughout their lives!

I cant speak for anyone, but i'm sure gofer's car is the Factory SARONNO RED.

Here I am bored at work lurking around the threads I typically don't even pop my head into and come to find out everyones talking about me in here!

Theres a lot of confusion on the Saronno Red/Radiant Fire Red paint codes and for awhile I wasn't 100% sure either until I started needed paint work done. Heres what I've figured out the last year or so... Mitsubishi only used the Saronno Red paint code (4273) on 1996 2g's but in '96 Mitsu also used the Radiant Fire Red (R87) paint code as well, making you think theres a difference in color. That assumption is wrong though, the R87 & 4273 paint codes are THE EXACT SAME paint, color, & clear coat believe it or not. In '97 Mitsu took the 4273 paint code (Saronno Red) and threw it out the window only making them Radiant Fire Red (R87) 2g's from then on out.

Now that I've confused everyone let me break it down into the meat and potatoes of what I said above. Basically, if your car has a R87 paint code or a 4273 paint code the color is Saronno (Radiant Fire) Red since its the same color with two different names.

...and yes my car is the stock R87 paint code with some NXT Generation wax scrubbed all over it.

Heres a picture of my car when all I had was 17's, suspension, and exhaust that way you don't have to look past all the other stuff. I love this color of red and IMO if your going to change it the only thing more RADIANT than Radiant Fire Red is the color of the new SRT-10 Vipers...

Heres the Dodge Viper I was talking about, its called Viper Red and the paint code is PRN the only problem its about $150 a quart.

I'm not a huge fan of red but if you have your mind set. Viper red is pretty sexy
