what can i use to clean out my stock lower intercooler pieping

water is fine, but for better and faster results use gas. i know its $2.80 a gallon, but just one gallon or so and you should be fine.

This way works, but i personally think that if you can get under the car it is much much easier. I have a hoist, so of course it will be easy for me. But if you could even jack up the front of your car enough to roll underneath of it with a creeper, that is what i recommend! Just unscrew the piping with a screw driver, then i think 3 bolts hold the IC on. First though you have to remove the "splash sheilds" which i think are help on by 2 little plastics screws. Then just have at it! Just my opinion though!!

go off of vfaq or use some carb and choke cleaner that works well also.

I used rubbing alcohol to clean out my intercooler once. It took two large bottles @ about $1 a piece, and I wasn't really too happy with the results. If I had to do again, I'd probably use a gallon of gas and let it soak. For IC pipes, gas or alcohol would work, whichever you prefer.






And I don't have to tell you not to smoke while you do this, right?

All of that stuff works. Gas may not be the safest but it definatley gets the job done. haha. You could even use engine degreaser and let it soak.
