If this has been discussed im sorry, but what are the chances of doing a 5spd swap and crankwalking. I know how people say CW is over-rated and everything but i was just wondering if i swapped now with 90k miles on a 7 bolt if there would be any chance. Thanks, Jeff

I don't know, I think crankwalking is overrated. But I've heard its more likely to happen on manuals because the amount of force on the crankshaft thats engaged with the clutch..
I'll stick to my auto! haha

Yea, im not positive on what i want to do yet, its just something im throwing out there ya know?

Yeah I mean if you have zero end shaft play now, I really wouldnt worry about it. and if it does happen it probably wont be for a while at a ripe old age.
Just curious, why do you not want your automatic? haha

Just lately its been kinda boring, im not the greatest at driving stick but it will be like a completely different car then. Still thinking about it, the hardest part is probably finding a 2g awd manual tranny. I also figure by the time i get parts in my tranny (shift kit, reworked valve bodies, TQ converter) i can get a used tranny, new clutch, fly wheel, short shifter for probably around the same as i'd spend in the long run rebuilding the auto and adding upgrades. Still just a thought though.
