Kid Challenging me to a Race?? What are the chances?

There is a kid at school that is challenging me to a race and he has a 1996 Honda Civic DX all stock. And I have a 1992 Eagle Talon non turbo all stock. This kid says that the whole dsm community are a bunch of "ricer's". I want to put this kid in his place in a race and I am wondering what are my chances?
Letme know what you think I should do to prepare.

power, torque, 2L engine displacement, is the key factor here..although civic weighs 2319 and talon weighs 2712 about 393 lbs difference,,im guessing u'll smoke him but its pretty close..make sure u do a good launch
