am i missing any thing i need to do to my block?
oil gallys?
any and all help will be greatly appreciated
thanks

Make sure you dont buy the crappy paper like gaskets. I bought a couple of those my first rebuild and had oil leaks everywhere. Try to get the nice gaskets from mitsu. I would consider buying arp main and head studs. Also dont buy anything from topline, Ive had bad experience with their products, mainly gaskets and pistons. Sine you have your block bare be a good time to put new oil squirters in. Just make sure you torque everything to spec. I accidently put my torque wrench to 150lbs somehow and tightened the main studs down and put the block back together and shaved the bearings down to nothing from trying to start it.

where can i get oil squirters?
are there differnt ones like do they make performance squirtres?
can i order online?
same with the oil pump i know they make a hi flow pump but is there a good place to order online?
thanks for responding and helping

Yeah i had 2 oil pumps from top line lock up and know of other peopole with the same problem. And when that happened it cost me 2 timing belts because it jumped timing by like 8 teeth. I got lucky and didnt bend any valves somehow.

Heres the link for the <A HREF="http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=5638&">squirters</A>. SBR is the only place I know that carries them unless you hit up the dealership.

SBR has both topline and mitsu <A HREF="http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.php?sid=&cat=60">oil pumps</A>.

As for the high flow oil pump, from my understanding its for high-g applications. Like if your constantly in a turn or something like that.

thanks for the links i found the squirters
but i couldnt find the oilpump just seals and such
im for sure going to get the squirters
as far as the oil pump im guessing you would recomend the mitsu over the topline?
thanks for your help
