so i been tryen to get my boost gauge hooked up for days nobody seems to wanna help me, i got the 6 bolt swap can somebody pleas send me a pciture or tell me were the exact line is that i run my boost line to thnx

and were is that at?

ya but them 2 lines are cut and they leed to nothing is there anywere else ican run it to

beacuse the lines running from each end of the fps are cut and theres no line ran to that. if i had a picture i would show u

i just t it in to the line coming off of the bov.. and it worked fine.. thnx

You need to tee it from that line. That line is used by almost everyone I know. What don't you understand about the line? It goes from the intake manifold to the FPS.

Thats why you use a "T" to attach the boost gauge hose to that line. Just cut the line, then put the two ends of the hose you just cut on the "T" then on the other end of the "T" put on your vacuum line from the boost gauge.

If the FPS is disconnected then look for the line from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator on the end of the fuel rail (drivers side ) and T it into that

If he doen't have a line going to his fuel pressure solenoid but, to the fuel pressure regulator, then a hose is missing.

My fuel pressure solenoid is not connected, you dont need it. I just have a line from the manifold to the regulator and the boost gauge Ts into that. As long as the ports where the FPS lines are removed from are capped off its OK.

How does that work out?

1) The FPS closes the vacuum path to the FPR during start-up which keeps constant fuel pressure and prevents the fuel from evaporating in the rail when the engine is hot.
2) The only negative side effect is possible harder starting when the engine is hot. It might take just a bit more cranking, but once the engine starts the FPS opens in a matter of minutes and the fuel pressure is regulated by the vacuum/boost in the intake plenum. By-passing the FPS doesn't effect the drivebility of the car. If a bigger fuel pump is used, there are no noticable negative side effects even during start-up since the bigger fuel pump is able to provide enough fuel without its evaporation even when the engine is hot.

I have not noticed any difference since I disconnected it.
