Im not sure what this is, or even if its the right forum for it...but when my car is cold, still warming up and i drive, sometimes it feels like im getting wheel hop when i go from a stop, but i dont think i can wheel hop an awd can i? heh, could it be like a slipping clutch?

Sounds like clutch chatter to me. Do you still have your stock clutch or is it upgraded?

In the traditional sense of the word, "wheel hop" is when under heavy load/acceleration the cars tires instead of spinning will actually bounce which feels like the tires are trying to pound themselves through the ground.

It sounds like what you are experiencing is a loose transmission. I would def. pull off the outside cover and make sure the two main nuts are tight. If you know you have issues already you might as well go ahead and rebuild it.
