I was installing a new intake, and I noticed this weird thing plugged in a hole thats on the bottom of the stock 2g mas. It appears like it may have gone to something, and it was plugged up with some gummy stuff with a plastic seal. I was feeling it to see what it was and put a small crack in the seal, so I taped it up. Havent run it yet, what is it, and what should I do with it?

EDIT: I just read that this covers an adjustment screw. Is it important that it be sealed?

Just silicone that they used so no one would mess with the adjustment screw. It's not necessary that it be there.
