Weird screw in the bottom of my Bilstein shocks ?

So i have screw that's in the bottom of my front bilstein shocks, i looks like it might adjust something?

But in right side it's fully turned in, and left side it's fully turned out.

Any idea or facts what is this screw ?
 
okay got it now... it's the screw that holds..umm how would i say it... holds the changable shock part... so i can buy new part if that brakes...

hehe :) very clearly said :D
