Ok so i have had an idle issue for quite some time now. I also have the code p1500, iv tested the alt. and it checks out. Even took it to pepboys to have it checked, all seemed good.
So i moved on to testing the wiring to he ecu from the alt. that was ok, i had continuity.
So i moved on to replacing the ecu, now the ecu is in and im waiting to see if the code comes back but my idle is no better?!?!???! I just started to connect the two problems but maybe there not, iv replaced the iac too and have a fiva block off but i didn't install that yet.
Just an fyi the idle is never the same, sometimes its nice and low others its at 2,000. Though it never goes above 2,000, and it can change very quick like in seconds or slowly over a long drive.
Im really at a dead end with this so if you guys can think of anything that would be great.
