Alright not quite sure how to explain this... sometimes when i get on it ... it feels like i dont have power or something just isnt right just not feeling that hmph almost like its losing power.....

Example: I was driving in 2nd gear i floored up didnt really feel much like the rpms drop back down and it floored it again felt fine .. Almost like its just not spooling at certain times.. i dont really know if i explained this alright but i did the best i can.

THANKS

I would check for boost leaks to start with. How many pounds of boost are you running, you could be knocking, that would make it feel sluggish like that.

running 10-11lbs right now... only mods i have are type-s bov, greddy hard pipes, and injen filter.... it will feel sluggish for a sec but i can just let off the gas give into it again and it feels fine.... one of my buddies tryed to explain to me

"you know how it wants to stutter and what not first thing each monrning when its cold? "

me "yeah"

"same thing pretty much, the motors cold, but the turbo is running hott, so its thinking oh shit this thing needs more fuel so it dumps more fuel in the motor when its not needed "

and he was saying possible boost leaks as well

Your friend is confused, i believe. The turbo does not talk to the ECU in any direct way, so the temperature of the turbo ( ) would in no way cause the ECU to dump more fuel into the engine.

I believe the previous poster hit on a big part of your problem -- This sounds like a boost leak to me. It is also possible that you're running rich (your friend was right in that respect), but it would not have anything to do with your turbo itself :)

Does the car do anything else out of the ordinary? Any hard starts or misfires? CELs?

Check it out with a logger and let us know. Do that boost leak test, though. I'll bet that's a big part of your problem.

definitley check how much boost you're running. too little isnt going to get you very far.

I think the boost level he's running should be the least of his problems right now. Turning up the boost when you have an undiagnosed boost leak can be fatal. If he fixed the leak, then didn't adjust the boost back down, talk about a disaster.

Wait until you've pressure tested the intake to worry about adjusting boost.
