2G Weird problem- clock losing time

I have a strange problem. My OEM Infinity double DIN radio clock is losing time. It’s been running slow, and I think it lost 10 minutes over the past month.

Not a voltage issue— car battery is good and kept on a battery tender when not driven.

Any ideas???

That sounds like an internal capacitor issue or a trim issue inside of the radio where the factory sets the clock rate, its very possible that someone was in there at one time and tinkered with anything with a screw head on it and messed up the trim on the clock if it has one, I haven't had one of these open to say one way or the other, on my double din radio that was out of my Gst that I was using in my Spyder, the volume control was all wacked and it would have low volume or all of the sudden it would be full tilt, very embarrassing when the top is down pulling into a gas station, I finally re-installed the stock single din radio with the storage tray under it, good thing that I didn't toss it or the radio code for it, and thats another problem, I can find the radios in the junk yard but they would be useless without the code for them.

Makes sense to me. Is there a way to test this out, or would it be easier to just get a replacement OEM head unit?

I cant think of any user serviceable way to get it right even if we knew what happened to it, best to replace him.
