So car runs smooth, until I drive it for a little, usually after a drive, turn off, than a hot start, I get a rough idle thats random. I caught a log of it, and the idle smoothed out and went normal again when the cooling fan kicked on, and it was nearly instant normal idle after running rough. Any ideas?

95 TSi AWD 7 bolt , Charcoal, EGR, fuel pressure solenoid deleted (rough idle was before they were deleted also). Has intake, DSMlink.
When the rough idle starts it almost sounds like the car is cammed and has a choppy cam. Drivability is fine besides the idle, smooth acceleration. Was gonna possibly do the FIAV bypass, I got the ISC to sit at 30 when the idle is normal.

Think you forgot to save turning off the Disable airflow smoothing.

Curious as to what "Simulate idle switch from TPS" is/does and if its something you actually need if you dont have the Enable TPS adjustments also clicked.

Now that Ive actually read this whole thread... Sounds like you have the same problem that I have. My car cold starts fine, drives fine, restarts fine. If it sits for like 10 minutes or more, i get this rough idle when i start it up and giving it a little gas eventually smoothes it out after about 20 seconds or so. Do I have this right with what youre experiencing?

I cant tell you what is causing the issue, but I can tell you a bunch of things that arent causing the issue. Ecmlink isnt the issue and I also have hotstart enrichment enabled. Coolant sensors have been replaced. its also not boost leak related as ive fixed all of that before I started tuning. Theres no extra air being introduced anywhere, not related to the throttle body and Ive rebuilt my entire fuel system, so not the pump, injectors, filter or fpr. its never gone away. The problem started after the 6-bolt was installed like 12 years ago and the shop that did it removed all the emissions equipment. Could be related to the EGR or FPS delete since we both have that in common. Also heard it could be related to the fuel pump relay.
