Okay so I finally bled my new stage two clutch and it seems to shift pretty smooth now. It's a little hard to put into first every once and a while but it's alway done that even with the oem. I think that's from my short shifter. But anyways it feels normal. Weird thing is I was parked and randomly the clutch pedal fell to the floor after pressing it. I picked it up with my hand and it was fine after that. Hasn't done it since. There's not really any clutch drag but when I do that test when you give it gas with it in gear amd clutch in...I moves slightly sometimes..and sometimes it doesn't move. And this is all on level surface. I don't get it. I'm not too worried tho because they say clutch drag messes with syncros because its hard to shift but mine isn't hard to shift. Do I need it bleed it some more?

Yeah, bleed those and get back to us. I was having knotchy shifting so I bled it and adjusted the nut, now it's much better. Good luck.

Thanks man. It's supposed to rain for the next couple days and I don't have a garage so you think it's safe to drive it without ruining the tranny? I mean other than that it shifts like butter for the most part and catches about an inch and a half off the ground which feels nice too me. I just don't want to damage anything

I'm not a clutch expert, but if you have clutch dragging issues (push in clutch, in gear, on level ground, gas it, and the car moves) then you'll be wearing out the clutch while you have it in gear, stopped, clutch pedal depressed. So when you stop, just put it in neutral and you don't drag the clutch. Temporary way to deal with it and still use your car.

Another thing aside from bleeding, bad slave/master cylinders, clutch, tranny issues might be clutch pedal adjustment. It's not hard to do. Check out the video:

And the video intro is Metallica!

Thanks for the input man. It's weird because when I do the test it will sometimes role forward slightly and other times it won't. Same with the pedal sticking to the floor except that only happened once in about 200 miles so far.

I also adjusted the pedal after bleeding and got it like that video says to do it with a little more fine adjusting. I pretty much had to get it JUST right because if it was too far one way the clutch would have a hard time engaging and if was too far the other it would be engaged all the time (dragging).

Honestly the more I talk about it, the more I start to believe it just needs bleeding haha

I have a short throw and it was hard to get into gear. I removed center console and found they put the bolt in backwards. It's fixed now and much better but still a pain sometimes. I was told it's a dsm thing .:)

Mine did this after I installed my new stg 4 clutch. I tried to keep driving it but it got so bad it wouldn't move. I kept bleeding it but didn't help. Ended up having to adjust the pedal height. I've heard that the 2gs are pretty picky when it comes to this.

Turns out the brand new master cylinder I had just installed had bad seals. Who knew! I found this out after getting stranded 2 and a half hours away from home in the middle of the high way with clutch fluid leaking all over the place! You don't have a dsm until you've been stranded because of it!
