Weird car problem: wont start

its a 91 gst it wont start theres spark and fuel but it wont fire up. its not the starter dont know what it is, if you have any idea let me know.

are you sure you have the timing set right? Even if you're off by 1 tooth, the car might not start. and if it does, it will run like crap. check your belt and go from there

i've had a problem like this too. checked timing it was good and i checked spark and it was sparking but not starting. what you need to do is buy a noid light set. they are not that expensive and it will give you a clue as to whats going on. a noid light is a light that you plug into your fuel injector harness and when you crank the car, the light should either flash or stay on. you will probably not find one specifically made for a dsm, i couldn't, but you don't need to. the set that i bought and the only one i could find was meant for GM. and two of the 8 lights fit perfectly into the injector harness. i found out that i had no injector pulse and i had to replace ECU . but good luck with your situation and i hope this helps.
