Weird box underneath dash? help me figure out what it is ( it has 3 wires coming out)

Okay I found this weird little black box underneath my dash. It has these words on it " PPP-1 Pass Time" patent pending

It has 3 wires coming out that arnt hooked up to anything and I believe a ground.

anyone have any clues?

whoops it has 4 wires coming out of it a red,pink,blue,purple wires. they are taped off. and a ground im assuming. It wasnt hooked up to anything underneath the dash.

can someone help!?

How about snapping a pic for us, so we can better help you out. I'm not sure this is enough information for anyone to be of much help. Year and Model may help more too.

wow... that looks strange. Somebody installed something aftermarket. I believe car alarms have more wires. But maybe a remote starter module.

But the weird thing is, is that it wasnt hooked up to ANYTHING. It was just there.

I am willing to bet it used to be a starter interupt. One of those units that you needed that special flat key installed into the holder that was usually located at the bottom of the dash.

it is a after market strobe kit well at lest the is what it looks like to me
