ECMlink WB in ecu input question

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

"Use these drop downs to tell the ECU where to find the defined sensors, if they are attached. If they are not attached to the ECU, simply select Undefined."

FYI, bottom right of every Link page there is a "?" and this normally explains everything related to functions of whatever tab you have opened.

It says:

For example, in order to perform narrowband simulation inside the ECU, the ECU needs to know where it can find a wideband sensor.

I'm not using nbsim. Should I leave it undefined? Wb is wired to egr temp. Thanks

If you want to log the WB and use it for WBfactor calculations (needed for tuning) you will need to assign it. It should look like this:

I'm not sure EGR temp is a usable input. Someone else may have to weigh in on that.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that egr temp input was usable for WB. Guess I could be wrong. ECMlink does log wbfactor. Is the calculation off if its marked undefined? I will change it and see what happens.

Look like you have it right.

This is from Dave.

"If you aren't using NB sim, you don't have to configure the ECU side. But I would configure it anyway so that you don't forget it if you ever do want to try NB sim. Go ahead and set the input to EGR Temp."
