So today I got my new 1g bov on and thought I'd take it for a spin. At that time I was running a vaccuum line straight from the turbo to the wastegate. My car was pulling perfectly fine but it won't go past 9psi. As a note I have an external dump so when the wastegate opens I can hear it very well. So I installed my NXS boost controller then went for another run. First thing I noticed was that under boost with the controller was that the dump tube was making no noise at all. I mean none. It pulled really hard then at 13psi it staretd bucking. Then I through the P1103 code which is wastegate malfunction. So my question is why isn't my wastegate opening with a boost controller installed? I know for sure it's not opening because I can't hear anything from my external dump. If I put the line straight from the turbo to wastegate it opens fine but doesn't boost past 9psi where I though our stock T25 wastegate was set to 10. Thanks for reading and a quick answer would be appreciated.

Well it's the NXS and I don't think it's too tight seeing as how it built up to 13psi boost before it started bucking. I hooked the turbo to the nipple opposite the control knob and the wastegate to the nipple that branches off to the bottom. Does this sound right?
